Two Single XL mattresses can also be assembled to form a standard King.

The Crib size fits specifically in baby cribs. The Federal Government regulates the size of all standard crib mattresses via the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA), which dictates specific sizing guidelines, including that no crib mattress should exceed 6” (15cm) in thickness.
Best For: Baby cribs.
Small Single Mattress Size

Small Double Mattress Size
Size: 48” x 72” (76cm x 190.5cm)
Room Size: 10’ x 10’ (3m x 3m)
The Small Double is sometimes referred to as a ¾ Double because it is ¾ the width of a standard Double, making it 5” (12.7cm) narrower. It is important to note that it may be challenging to find bedding that fits this custom size.

The Double XL, similar to a Single XL, is the same width as a standard Double but is 5” (12.7cm) longer. This size is good for taller single sleepers who might need the extra leg room. It is important to note that this size pairs best with Queen-size bedding.

It is important to note that it may be challenging to find bedding that fits this custom size.
Best For: Taller couples, couples looking for a lot of extra space, and extra-large master bedrooms.
FAQs
Can I bend a mattress to make it fit up or down a staircase or in a vehicle?
Yes, most mattresses can be bent or flexed slightly to fit through tight stairwells, doorways, or into vehicles. In general, the average amount of force applied when maneuvering a mattress won’t damage it (though we don't recommend testing this theory).
Will a Queen size mattress fit in my minivan or pick-up truck?
A Queen size mattress will fit in the bed of a 150/1500 series pick-up truck, such as a Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram 1500. It will also fit in the bed of any pick-up truck larger than that size. However, a Queen size mattress is too big to fit in a minivan, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, or other pick-up trucks of similar size.
Will a King size mattress fit in my minivan or pick-up truck?
A King size mattress will fit on top of the bed of a 150/1500 series pick-up truck, such as a Ford F-150 or Dodge Ram 1500. It will also fit on top of the bed of any pick-up truck larger than that size, but it will not fit inside the bed. A King size mattress is too big to fit in a minivan, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, or other pick-up truck of similar size.
Is a Double mattress big enough for two people?
Two people can fit on a Double size mattress, but it may not be as comfortable as some of the larger sizes, especially for couples who like their space.
Do coil mattresses bend or fold?
Yes, any mattress can generally be bent or folded to some degree, allowing it to squeeze up or down a tight stairwell, or through a tight doorway or inside a vehicle. However, a coil mattress will not fold or bend as much as a foam mattress. In general, the average amount of force applied when maneuvering a mattress won’t damage it (though we don't recommend testing this theory).
Can I roll up my mattress to transport it?
A mattress can be flattened and rolled under a hydraulic press for transport. At Dozy, our Express line comes pre-rolled for convenience. Call us in-store at (416)-840-0224 if you need your Dozy mattress compressed or rolled for shipping.
How do I roll my mattress back up into the box?
A mattress cannot be rolled by hand to fit back inside a shipping box. The rolling process involves a hydraulic press that flattens and rolls the mattress under thousands of pounds of force.
What are the different mattress sizes?
There are six standard mattress sizes in North America: Single, Single XL, Double, Queen, King, and California King. There are also a variety of custom mattress sizes available.
Do custom size mattresses cost the same as standard size mattresses?
A custom-size mattress can cost anywhere from 20 to 50% more than a standard-size mattress, depending on the size. A custom mattress sometimes also requires custom-sized accessories, which can be difficult to find and often cost more as well.
