What’s The Difference?
The Forest Hill is a perfect combination of all the tried and true hybrid mattress technologies wrapped inside a new look. With a high-density foam core and transitional layer for support, followed by a gel-infused rebound foam that keeps you lying on top of the mattress rather than sinking in, The Forest Hill is more supportive than the Basic and Original line mattresses. The Forest Hill also uses both gel and Holofill quilting covered with a 100% jacquard cotton exterior which makes it more breathable than our Basic and Original line mattresses. All of these features make The Forest Hill our most breathable, durable, and supportive hybrid mattress.
THE JACQUARD EXTERIOR
The Forest Hill is covered entirely in 100% jacquard cotton. Jacquard cotton is an organic cotton fabric woven with intricate patterns on a loom. Jacquard cotton wicks away heat making it a highly breathable mattress material. Jacquard cotton is also soft to the touch with a tight weave that gives it a luxurious and durable feel.
THE LEGACY QUILT
The Forest Hill features our Legacy quilt which combines gel and Holofill in a tufted-style pattern which provides an ultra plush feel while keeping your body away from the mattress layers and increasing airflow.
THE LATEX TOP
The Forest Hill uses Talalay latex as the topmost layer of the mattress. Latex is more like rubber than foam. Latex has aerated channels throughout which allow heat to move away from the surface and into the deeper layers of the mattress where it can freely escape. The Forest Hill is our most breathable hybrid mattress.
THE REBOUND LAYER
The Forest Hill uses gel-infused rebound foam just below the surface of the mattress. Gel-infused rebound foam is highly responsive and breathable which prevents you from feeling “trapped” inside the mattress and instead keeps you supported on top.
THE TRANSITION LAYER
The Forest Hill uses open-cell high-density foam as a transition layer in the center of the mattress. Open-cell foam is more aerated than traditional closed-cell foams, this allows your body heat to escape away from the surface and into the deeper layers of the mattress where it can freely escape which increases breathability.
THE MAGNIFICENT MIDDLE
The Forest Hill is reinforced in the center third underneath the area where your hips rest. Your hips take the pressure of getting in and out of bed, pivoting when rolling over, and the majority of the weight when lying still. All of this combined naturally makes your hip area the heaviest part of the body. The center third tends to lose its shape the most over time which is why we have reinforced this area with firmer material to provide more support and durability.
THE POCKET-COIL BASE
The Forest Hill is a hybrid mattress with a pocket-coil base. Unlike a continuous coil system which moves as one noisy unit, pocket-coils are silent and move independently from one another which reduces motion transfer across the surface of the mattress. Our pocket-coils are made from 100% Canadian tempered steel and are designed to provide support and retain their shape over time.
THE FOAM ENCASEMENT
The Forest Hill has a 360-degree foam encasement which makes the mattress more rigid along the edges and prevents you from feeling like you are rolling off the sides.

No, The Forest Hill does not come rolled or compressed. Crushing a mattress under a thousand pound hydraulic press is likely to degrade high-quality materials. At Dozy, we only compress and roll our Basic line to avoid compromising the integrity of our products.
