The Platform Base does not have slats but instead uses a solid wood base instead of slats to ensure even, sturdy support beneath you and your mattress.
The Platform Base height cannot be adjusted but it comes with extra-wide, sturdy metal legs which create a 10” clearance from the ground allowing for convenient under-bed storage.
